My Personal Language Learner Trait

The reading passage," Language-Learner Traits", objectively presented in four types of traits such as age, intellectual, psychological and past experience. Also by stating many specific factors for each type, it clearly shows what those traits are all about. After reading this passage, I took myself into account, and I figured out my three essential traits as a language learner. Personality is the first factor that influences me in both positive and negative way. Next is social, which is my original intention of being able to communicate and make friends with people. Finally, is my positive attitude towards learning English. These three personal traits are the strongest motivations which provide me a lot of helps during the process of learning English.
To begin with, the first trait is my personality which plays a vital role throughout the English-learning process. It is hard to define whether I am an extrovert or an introvert. I probably say both. On the one hand, I am introverted. I often feel shy and being so quiet when I first involved with a group of people who are unknown or unfamiliar to me. For instance, entering into a class with all new students at the first day of school, I am not used to start a conversation with them, because I have problems to express my emotion in this situation. Obviously, I missed plenty of chances to speak the language that I am learning. I realized that I should not let those opportunities slipped away from me. Therefore, I am trying to make some changes in personality and to be more outgoing with people and use English frequently. On the other hand, after getting to know the surroundings, I am activated and become an extrovert. I like to join more activities and enjoy working with groups. I had taken part in a community Youth Forum last year and worked with a group of Aussie teenagers, which was a fantastic time to get along with them and took advantage of this opportunity...
