Life in My Household

I can still remember the laughter and crazy moment me and my family shared in the living room of our house. It was an average sized living room furnaced with a couch, a love seat and a lazy boy. The coffee tables of the living room were decorated with all me and my siblings accomplishments. There were sports trophies honor roll plaques and spelling bee championships which were all from my little brother who had a thing for looking up new words in the dictionary to make us feel stupid with. On top of are big screen TV there were pictures of me, my two brothers and my little sister that were replaced every school year when we took new pictures. This was the place that as a family we watched movies sat around talked and laughed together and went through hardships and tough times together. The room served as our playground when it got dark outside and in the crazy winters that we always experience in Ohio. When my parents would leave for work on our days off me and my siblings would create some of the craziest games and events, one game we would play was called skate fest and we would put plastic bags on our feet and slide around the carpet and jump off the furniture and try to do tricks. I still remember the look on my mother’s face when she finally caught us jumping off her furniture. My two little brothers, my sister and I where on punishment for about two weeks. Whenever it was cold outside we also liked to turn our medium sized living room into an indoor football arena running around couches and tackling each other as if we were playing an N.F.L. game. The biggest game of ours that we played was wrestling we would have a royal rumble downstairs in the middle of the living room just about every other day right in front of our mother, she got so use to it over the years that she learned to tune us out and just watch TV over the noise.
