Coursework Question:
Prepare two suitable and skillful recipes for a teenager who want to lose weight.

RECIPES
Banana Muffins
Ingredients
100g of selfraising flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
50g of salt
1 medium banana or 2 small bananas ,mashed
3 tablespoons margarine
1 egg ,beaten
50ml milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method
1.Mix the milk ,egg ,melted butter, vanilla essence and bananas in a beaker.
2.Sift the flour in a mixing bowl. Add the sugar and salt. Mix well
3.Form a well in the centre of the flour mixture and pour the wet ingredients in it
4.lightly mixed the ingredients together. The cake mixture may be slightly lumpy
5.Fill a patty tin with 6 paper cupcake cases and fill each one three-quarters full with the mixture
Tips:
Use 100g of plain flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder if self raising flour is not available
Check if the muffins are ready by piercing the centre of the muffin with a metal or bamboo skewer.If it comes out clean,the muffin is done.
Remember to preheat the oven 180degree for 10mins before putting the food in.
Seafood lasagne
Ingredients

1 green onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons plus 1/2 cup butter, divided
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 bottle (8 ounces) clam juice
1 pound bay scallops
1 pound uncooked small shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 package (8 ounces) imitation crabmeat, chopped
1/4 teaspoon white pepper, divided
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

Methods
In a large skillet, stir fry onion in oil and 2 tablespoons butter until tender. Stir in broth and clam juice; bring to a boil. Add scallops, shrimp, crab and 1/8 teaspoon pepper; return to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 4-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and scallops are firm and opaque, stirring gently. Drain, reserving cooking liquid; set seafood mixture aside....
