Board of Trustees. The workshop is open to the public and is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Cannady Board Room of the Municipal Government Center located at 285 Uptown Blvd. in Cedar Hill.
The workshop provides opportunities for interested residents to learn more about the demands and rewards of serving as a member of the Board of Trustees. Board Members not up for re-election this May will provide information regarding the election process, time commitment, issues addressed and the Board's operating procedures.
While attendance at this workshop is not a requirement to run for election on May 9, 2009, it is encouraged as it will answer many of the questions typically asked about running for the Board of Trustees.
