Of course with a name like Kings County, it’s only naturally proper that we have our own County gathering.
And this month, the Fair will be hotter than the sun as the Aviator Sports and Event Center delivers as usual, as it hosts the Kings Fair from May 19 to 30, for 12 days of funnel cake, corn dogs and carnival rides galore. Kids and teens alike will be as happy as a kid running through a candy store. The stars will surely be dancing above on the hopefully cool summer nights. As some might not recommend attending the fair as the days grow hot with the weather runs risks of making people sick.
For the thrill-seekers, the family-friendly affair will feature plenty of rides and games for kids; so think bumper cars, a Ferris wheel, and the rides that tilt and spin at stomach churning levels. There’ll also be clowns, great live music and food so good it is horribly bad for you, including cotton candy and yummy funnel cakes that will make you shout for joy such as “Yip-eee!” maybe you’ll be so excited you’ll neigh like a horse. BAM! We know… we know this sounds oh so amazing! Kids will surely be saying “Sally sell sea shells by the sea shore”… for no reason what so ever… but they will!
