I slowly crept through and out of the bush towards the glimmering fire pit. My eyes scanned through the dark noticing Jack and the other boys huddled around the fire. I couldn't quite make out what they were whispering about over the crackle of the fire.
What is going on?

The weather was caving in quickly, the waves became aggressive crashing against the rocks at the end of the beach. The rain pounded down making it harder to see the boys. I felt uneasy and threatened. The thunder roared and lightning opened the sky, lighting everything up for a split second.

Jack and the littluns voices became synchronized. I was watching the boys as they nudged each other, puffing their chests up to try look tough.
Himself and his pack of savages were chanting something becoming louder and louder by the minute.
My heart beat intensified and I felt intimidated, cowering behind Ralph.

I reluctantly shuffled towards the commotion.
"Kill the beast! Cut his throat! Spill his blood!" Over and over again each time terrifying me even more. Watching them romp around the fire pit. You could almost see the adrenaline pumping through them. I felt smaller and smaller as the boys actions became boisterous and I could tell something was going to go wrong.
