You determine how your life will turn out. It depends on whether you make good or bad decisions. Therefore, I have decided to make good decisions in my life so I can be successful in the long run. There are many ways I can determine how my life will be, but the most important factor is my education.
Education plays an important role in society today and it can determine how I advance in my career. Choosing the field that best fits you is just as important as getting a good education. To determine which field you have to ask yourself what you want to do as your career and can you see yourself doing this happily for a long time. I have taken these steps, asked myself these questions, and decided to become a Graphic Designer.
I feel that this job fits me well because of the passion I have for it. I have a passion for it, because the skills I possess match those needed to be successful.
The Penn Foster course on desktop publishing helped me realize that this was the career for me. There are four books discussing the subject matter in the course. In the first book, Desktop Publishing, I learned about the desktop publishing market history, development, how desktop publishing process works, and opportunities in desktop publishing. In the second book, Electronic Publishing Process, I learned how to look at your computer system, desktop publishing, compatibly, and the associated processes. Next was Element of Design where I learned visual appeal, proportional versus non proportional type, and getting to know your document. Finally there was the book Illustrations where I learned computer graphic formats, Graphic software packages, and selecting illustrations.
I personally love working on the computer and learning new skills and the books in this course helped me to learn many new things. The layout of the books allowed me learn the new skills easily by helping me connect to the topics. It allowed me to realize that this job fits me in many different...
