In today’s society it seems that education has taken a back seat to others issues. To maintain the highest standard of academics proper funding should be appropriated to our educational systems. Teachers are made to live with an income near poverty, students go without the best learning equipment and politics let corruption creep in to the sacred foundation of learning.
Education is the future it’s our tomorrow. It is of the up most importance the system work for the children not against them. Money makes the world go round and without it the great minds of America’s future may not be given the best chance to flourish.
It seems odd that teachers who hold a great deal of responsibility with their jobs are paid among the lowest of people with degrees. How can our society expect so much out of people whom they pay barely enough to survive? Young people notice these types of things when they choose a major. It’s easy to understand why across the country many states have a shortage of teachers. In order to get the best outcome from a job you have to pay your employees what’s right and people know this is not right.
Every job is done better with the right tools and American students do not have the right tools. Students need the right tools to get their job done. The system should provide each student with a computer. So many educational programs are just a click away, yet we do not take advantage of this. It gets worse books are sometimes in short supply and in such bad condition it’s the luck of the draw weather it’s been taken care of or if you can even take it home to study with. Since when did books come with duck tape … beats me yet I have seen it with my own eyes. Also books are often outdated teaching ways of doing things which are prehistoric or telling you the last thing that happened in history is dessert storm. Young people should be valued more.
