As you grow older your life will change in many different ways. One major transformation would be going onto college. Every person will go through different sorts of changes, depending on how your lifestyle was as a child and a high school student. Personally, my lifestyle changed from living at home to moving to Kansas and living on my own. Also, you have a lot more responsibility, since you have to be the one to make yourself succeed in school, there is no one forcing you to. High school and college are completely different but they both have pros and cons. My life before college was extremely different then it is now because I am a college student. I attended high school at Naugatuck High school in Connecticut. Looking back on my high school days I see myself as a whole new person now. I can’t believe that I have changed so quickly. Being a high school student is a lot more laid back then being a college student. If you don’t complete an assignment the teachers will continue to remind you that you need to make up your work, and will do anything to get you to do it. When I attended high school I never handed in my work on time. I would skip classes with my friends and go to mc Donald’s. My friends and social life were way more important than my school work. I was a normal immature high school student that thought it was cool to not do my homework or to Rome the halls when I had a test that day. By acting immature it caused many problems for me not only in school but my home life as well. I was failing all my classes; I was in constant trouble with my mom and always getting grounded. I never obeyed my curfew and stayed out really late which was just another reason on why I wasn’t in school. As it became the end of my senior year and everyone was talking about graduation and moving on to college I began to realize that I need to start working a lot harder at my school work.
