Today in our era that we know as good performers is Chris brown, ne-yo, usher, Justin Timberlake and many more. They are all very different artist in their way but they do have one thing in common is that they based there way of performing and making music off one person. That person is Michael Joseph Jackson, known to the world as the King of Pop.
At the age of 10 Michael Jackson was a star leading him and his brothers to fame and becoming one of the biggest groups ever to be together. There music caught the attention of famous music producer Barry Gordy form Motown. Barry Gordy mentored them through everything and helping Michael Jackson learn how to get to the top and stay there. Many have tried to imitate, copy, and surpass what Michael did but no one can do any of these because he is a once in a lifetime talent that will never come around again. No one can imitate his stage presence, no one copy his swag, and no one surpass unique music. When you hear a song of his come on and you don’t even hear the lyrics to it yet you still know what song it is because his songs are still so memorable to all of us in a way. We have all seen when one of his songs comes on at homecomings, proms, or weddings the dance floor will try dance like him and attempt to do a moonwalk and completely fail at it and I was one of those people who looked pretty dumb. Michael Jackson was known as the king of pop because he was the one person that elevated music to everyone. He wasn’t just a great pop star he was a very versatile artist by singing rock and r and b and more and also making it his own. With all the good things he did like charity work and more that he wouldn’t of got a lot of bad things thrown at him but he did. There were rumors that he did bad things in the 2000s and tarnished his name until he died. When I heard of the rumors about him I was really hurt because I thought of him a person to look up to when I was young. Singing...
