This career development has included a job analysis, training and mentoring and currently performance and career management. The performance and career management will include the following listed below: Feedback Performance Promotions Flexible opportunities Adaptations for diversity How this will work with the current budget Appraisal form (Appendix A) Feedback Feedback is a requirement for all employees who have had an appraisal completed (see Appendix). This feedback is required to be done as quickly as possible. The appraisal should be completed at least every six months. It is preferred to have the appraisal done every three months for the aspect of ruling out any biases. According to Caciso (2006), Traditionally, formal appraisal is done once, or at best twice a year. Research, however, has indicated that once or twice as year is far too infrequent…Research indicates that if a rater is asked to assess an employee’s performance over a six to twelve month period, biased ratings may result. The appraisal forms see Appendix A. The opportunity the employee has after the feedback is given is a written rebuttal. Communication plays a critical role before, during and after with the evaluation process. Performance To reach a higher level of performance there will be training available. If the employee chooses to return to school to get the training required, then a performance evaluation will take palace after the training is complete.
