1. Leadership evaluation Seven Habits Profile
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People (Covey, 1989) provides an outline for personal effectiveness. According to Covey (1989), our character is a collection of habits. Habits define what our character is built upon and equals the knowledge we operate and are dependent on.
The 7 habits are divided as follows (Stephen Covey, 2016)
The first 3 habits are concentrating on mastering the self. In order to be independent, one has to be dependent, and then move to independence:
o Habit 1 – Be Proactive
Be responsible for own growth
o Habit 2 – Begin with the end in Mind
Focus on the things that can be controlled
o Habit 3 – Put first things first
Priorities – most important first
The following 3 habits are addressing independence:
o Habit 4 – Think Win/Win
Work effectively with others
o Habit 5 – Seek first to understand, and then to be understood
Communicate effectively in the organization
o Habit 6 – Synergize
Innovate with others and solve problems with those who have a different point of
view
o Habit 7 – Sharpen the saw
Continue improving yourself
