Mardi Gras Is not something to be watched but something to be part of. You would hear the big flashy crowds the smell the alcohol and the great food that’s being cooked. It’s a time when all races age’s religions get together and have a great time. It’s also a fantasy day where you can wear mask and be what ever you want. Mardi Gras is French for fat Tuesday. Your whole family can dress crazy and not stand out. Every Float In Every Parade is a result of very hard work. Mardi Gras has its wild side it’s a non stop party that goes on for days Parking lots filled with tail gaiters.
There is a specialty item that is only made around carnival time its called a king cake who ever finds the baby has to buy the next king cake. The culture of New Orleans" is best at Mardi Gras” time it attracts a lot of celebrities.
