Legalization of Marijuana
Marijuana is an illegal drug found throughout the United States. Marijuana comes from a unique type of hemp plant called cannabis indicia. About 300,000,000 people use marijuana daily it is described as a non-additive drug that people smoke through a pipe or by rolling it in tobacco paper. There are many reasons why people smoke weed. Some of these reasons are to relieve stress, relief from pain, nausea, and many other symptoms. It is also a way to become very sociable, laugh a lot and loose track of time. (Moffatt)
There are many reasons why people think that marijuana should not be legalized. Some of the reasons for this are because marijuana impairs your mood, train of thought, memory and balance. It kills brain cells and speeds up your heart rate. I think that legalizing marijuana will not affect anything because even though it is not legalized tons of people use it and know where to get it.
In an article posted on alternet.org it states the top ten reasons why marijuana should be legalized. The article states that the top ten reasons are:

#7 Legalizing marijuana will reduce the flow of money from the American economy to international gangs.
#6 it would simplify the development of hemp n America. Basically make it easier for you to buy hemp.
