Marketing strategic:
Our main targets for our product selling are for all the community of University Malaysia Sabah. The majority from that are undergraduate students. While the minority from that is lecturers and officer. Our goods are producing by one of our member family. So the safety of our foods is guaranteed. Our food is suitable for all type of race, especially for Muslim. Our products are selling in cheap price, so that all of the university community affords to buy and taste our products.
Facts that affecting our marketing:-
A. Products
When we run our business in PPIB Expo, which is located at PPIB car park, our company will sell two different kind of food. The goods that we will sell at that day are:-
a. “Keropok Amplang”;
b. Pudding.
To attract more consumers to buy our products, we will sell five favors of puddings, which are mango, coconut, corn and yam. The variety favors of pudding that we are going to sell is to make sure that our consumers can chose and buy the favors that they prefer. The process of producing pudding is very simple; we can finish producing it by time. Pudding is in low cost as well.
While the “Keropok Amplang” have 3 favors which are fish favor, prawn favor and crab favor. It is imported from Tawau and it is also one of the famous foods in Sabah as well. The main idea of selling it is that most of the students from peninsular Malaysia never taste it before. Our promoter will promote it by giving information that related to our goods to our customers.
B. Location
During PPIB Expo day, our company will start our business at the car park in PPIB. The rental fee of our store for 2 days in PPIB Expo is RM 30.00(RM15 per day). So we planned to book a strategy place to start our business. Selection of location to start a business is very important because it will affect the achievement.
