Part 1: Define and describe each stage of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
Your discussion of each need should be approximately one paragraph in length.
1. Physiological needs for survival
Physiological needs are the most basic human needs. They include food, water, and comfort. Food satisfies hunger, water satisfies thirst and relaxation satisfies comfort. These are biological needs. They consist of needs for oxygen, food, water, and a relatively constant body temperature. They are the strongest needs because if a person were deprived of all needs, the physiological ones would come first in the person's search for satisfaction. The physiological which means you need air, food, water, sleep, evacuation, etc. the basic things of life for a person to survive.
2. Safely and protection needs
Safety needs are the desires for security and stability, to feel safe from harm. Food that has been properly sealed and dated for freshness can satisfy safety needs. Maslow then says once you have those basics you then need security/safety, employment, resources, family members for encouragement, health, etc. to be able to move on to the 3rd level. If you don't have all these then Maslow contends that you can't move on.
3. Belonging needs
Our belonging needs are very important also. Everybody needs to feel wanted, comfortable while at work, and to fit into social groups. We all like affirmation and acceptance from others. Belonging is very important in our everyday life and careers.

4. Self-actualization needs
Self-actualization needs are desires for self-fulfillment and the realization of individual’s full potential. Preparing and cooking a gourmet meal can satisfy self- actualization needs. self-esteem, confidence, achievement, respect of others, respect by others, etc. and so he say you can't move onto the 5th level until you have all of the...
