With the technological advances we have made there are so many options when it comes to cell phone providers, plans, and features. For some consumers a standard monthly fee is acceptable for their plan and features and others cannot afford those prices. Many customers benefit from having a two year contract with their provider in order to take advantage of an upgrade on their equipment while others feel that waiting two years for another upgrade is too long. The Maximum Performance Plan (MPP) allows consumers the option to have a flexible cell phone account without astronomical monthly fees or a contract.

Years ago the argument for cell phones would have been that they were an elastic item. Today with so many high technical individuals, professionals, and students many would argue that cell phones have become inelastic. I have chosen to cancel my landline at home since we all have cell phones and I consider my cell phone a necessity in my profession. I have heard several times how people will lock their car keys in the car but they always have their cell phones in their hand. The first thing I grab is my cell phone before I even grab my car keys. I just feel like so much of my life (calendar for appointments, phone book, and e-mail accessibility) are all in one portable and easy to use device making my life so much easier.
