Mcdonaldization is a way of life in which we have in our generation come to do things
differently based on how we do them and how quick we do them. An example would be how we
stay in touch with people and how we contact them. This is compared to how we used to have to
send letters before we even had phones or any other means of easy messaging.
Mcdonaldization is a way in which we have obtained doing something in a more efficient way
and that is a lot simplerl. Some of the biggest things I would say that Mcdonaldization has done
in our community is speed up the process of how our economy runs nowadays and how much it
has sped up in these past couple of years. It has dramatically impacted the food industry and the
media industry based on how everything is produced quicker and simpler. These are just some
of the major ideas dealing with Mcdonaldization since it has so much more things it deals with as
well.
Some of the ways it reflects in my life would be how much easier it is now living in my time
and age compared to just a couple of years back. Saying this all give a couple of examples of
how this is true. One idea would be since I don’t know how to cook I could just go to any fast food
joint a couple of blocks away from my house and get a meal literally in minutes. Another idea
would be how I stay in touch with everyone using my phone and other social media websites.
This is a big one due to the fact that I can get a hold of anyone in a matter of seconds and with all
these new smartphones coming out its speeding up the process technologically and efficiently.
Another bonus with smartphones is the way you could look up anything on the internet in a
matter of seconds using siri and getting the answer to the question you have. I would say the
social media has been most improved based on how much things we could do nowadays thatyou could not have done a couple of years ago and it is getting better every year by them
