Media Coursework – Advertising
Advertising is a form of communication . that persuades potential customers to purchase or to consume any object ,movies or things which have to be promoted to people so they can know about the item and buy it or believe in it . Mode of communication can be through print media –magazines newspaper and leaflets, TV, films, radio, etc. Advertising basically helps to reduce the cost of the media. If there is no advertisement in the newspaper then cost of news paper will be much higher than anyone can afford it. Similarly if there is no advertisement on TV channels then there will not be broadcasting the channels free of costs to the public hence advertising is helping the all types of media to give information at affordable rates. This advertisement is about “Lux shower gel” for girls and it’s taken from banner. These banners can be displayed on shops window, bus stops, etc.
The layout of this advertisement is bold and has use bright dark colour to attract viewers. This help people to notice it and also make more attractive. The image in the banner is in the center as to attract viewers and to give that image the important .whenever u see any banner, poster you will first see the center of it that’s why important image should be in center. The banner also shows the red carpet and nice car to significance the popularity and fame which girls can get after using their product as they will become beautiful and can work in movies to be famous or rich with it. Image at the bottom right corner shows the product picture so the girls can identify the product ,they can know what the product looks like and can identify it when they go to shops. The text at left side of it tells about the product which will help to give some information like product is rich in fruit oil. This help to built an image about the product in the person who is reading it and can also be impressed by it .
