How do movies or television influence people’s behavior? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.
The issu of what movies and television influence people’s behavior is a controversial one. Some say that advertisements and violents program bring the bad things to our lives. While others belive in the possitive effect of televisons and movies such as learning new good things. In my opinion, movies and televison give us all of these suggestions.
First of all, through advertisements, television brings a negative effect to us. That is advertisements compel people to buy things that they may not need. What do you think if your neighbours have just bought camping equipment and then never go camping? It’s like a joke. Or someone buys a car but can’t really afford it. He must lend a big money to satisfy his liking. For another example, someone buys a new computer althought his old computer work fine. What a pity if he put it one a one.
A serious reason for parents to stop their children from watching TV is violence. Children could see terrible things on TV such as shooting, killing, fighting from the thrilling films and sometimes act them out. It may become danger if they think violent is ok. Because children are too young so that they may not be able to understand right from wrong. This bad thing can led them into failed way when they’re growing.
On the other hand, beside the negative effects that movies and televison cause, they bring to us many new exiting things. While sitting in your home, you can learn about different countries in the world. Watching many beautiful places, knowing so much intersting cultures, diferent kinds of people… that’s so good for your knowledge. If you’re a girl and wants to learn household arts but don’t have time to study at any traning centre. What would you do? The teaching program can show you all skills that you wants : cooking, sewing…
In conclusion, movies and TV are now so important...
