Football Star
There once was a boy named Paco. Paco loved football. He loved it in the morning, he loved it at night, and Paco loves football 24 hours a day. The only problem about this was that Paco didn’t have a right leg. Paco plays running back. If you play quarterback, you need both arms so you can stiff arm the opponent or catch the ball. But Paco played anyway, well at least until he turned ten.
Paco finally realized how hard it would be to play quarterback with only a left leg and a prosthetic right leg. Paco went home to see his dad. When he got home, his dad was punching a punching back, which he only did when he was mad.
“What’s wrong dad?”
“Your coach just called, you have been pushed down to third string QB”.
“Why”.
“He said because you weren’t good enough and weren’t fast enough.”
“But I am the fastest one on the team.”
“I don’t know Paco”
It’s because I only have one leg isn’t it!”
“No no no Paco it’s not that”
“Yes it is, this sucks I hate my life!!!”
Paco ran up to his room as fast as he could, but to coach, it wasn’t fast enough.
“Paco!” Said his dad yelling from behind the slammed and locked bedroom door.
“GO AWAY”, said Paco.
“Ok, but you’re going to miss your first game today”.
“Oh, I completely forgot said Paco running out of his room already in his pads and gear.”
“Ok then, let’s go.”
When Paco got to his game, the coach told him he was starting at QB. Paco didn’t ask questions. Paco had his arm sleeve ready and was getting his team pumped as a QB should do to his teammates.
