Media Convergence
Digital technology, network technology and the development of electronic communication technology allow different forms of medias to become closer. The convergence of technology has promoted convergence with the media. Therefore, we can consider media convergence to be the development and promotion of communication technology. The convergence of communication channels, or the communication channels of digital communication technology, which are independent of each other, have gradually merged with each other, and realized the sharing of different media resources. The convergence of media content refers to the media content that is different in the form of different media and can not one word communicate clearly. In the development and promotion of digital technology, it becomes a mixed content product that can be used across platforms and across media. From the perspective of morphology, the content can be included in the content of pictures and text. From the perspective of media sources, it can be newspapers, magazines, books, radio, television, networks, and cell phones. The convergence of terminal equipment, or the technology and function of the termini equipment, the technology and function of the computer, and the electronic consumer terminal products are gradually becoming the network. Users can only operate a terminal device to accept the media content of different media forms, and through the convergence of the terminal to send information to different media platforms.
