In April of last year I was chilling with my friends in South Hill, VA. At first I did not have a problem with the people down the street until my little sister said they were picking on her. After she told me her side of what happen, I went to approach the kids and ask them why you were they picking on my sister. They said she was talking about them first so I left it alone. Five minutes after that incident, my neighbor came to show me his belt buckle which was shape like a gun and that there was an altercation down the street. We used the mailbox as an excuse to see what was going on down the street. As we ran up the road, the belt buckle fell out my pocket. By the time we got up the street, there were already six police cars up there and they already had cleared the scene.
As we were walking home, I was talking on the phone and the police stopped me to ask me what my name was because of the accident was from earlier. Apparently, one of the kids parent called the police, because the child said that I pulled a gun out on them and said I was going to killed them. He told me to get off the phone and asked was my name Kera. I told him yeah, so he got out the car, slammed me onto the car, handcuffed me, and put me in the car. My mother and neighbors came outside to see what was going on. My mother asked the cops why was I in the car and he said that I had a gun and pulled it out on the little kids.
They let me out the car to talk to my mother and one of the kids’ relatives was trying to fight me while I was in handcuffs, so they put me back in the car. My neighbor called my mother boyfriend and he shut it down. The police got back in the car and he explained to me that the lady said I had a gun and the only choice they had was to take me to the station. Another officer came to the car and asked me was my grandma name Maretha Williams, I said yeah and he said okay.
