Morals are important in today’s society because if we do not practice morality, we tend to go through the wrong path of life. We lose our manners, for Christian believers they lose their faith and the many morals that are taught in the bible and people will not want to help each other as a united society.
To prepare for the world morals are taught at a young age so that as the young children grow up they would know what is right and wrong. As they already have learned or practiced on how to make the right decision because of being taught morals at a young age. Like the bushman children are taught how to do certain things in their society and as they practice it while they grow they learn to become strong hunters and strong men and women, to help their families. Since knower days the way of living has changed and the key to a better lifestyle is money, so this tribe uses their skill in making beautiful beads and they sell them in order to receive an income.
Behavior is also one of the strongest morals that a society needs. No one wants to be treated in an unpleasant way, we all want to be treated in a pleasant way so by following most morals, and we should do to others what you want done to yourselves. In most homes children are taught how to greet people elder than them in a polite manner. Behavior also causes violence in society people tend to cause physical fights because of the way they approach or behave towards each other.
Education is also one of the most important morals that the youth have taken up until today. Without education we will not have anywhere to go in life, so we need to practice and keep the traditional moral in the society. Cultural/traditional morals also educate the young illiterate children like the few himba who do not go to school by teaching them skills that can get them somewhere in life, skills like crafting.
