Letter of motivation
I am writing to indicate my interest to pursue MSc. Photogrammetry and Geoinformatics at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences. I am a young male of 27 years old, holding a Bachelor degree of Science in Geomatics from Ardhi University (Formerly UCLAS) with honorable upper second degree class. The undergraduate curriculum in Geomatics at the School of Geospatial sciences and Technology at Ardhi University, Tanzania introduced me to a wide variety of GeoInformation subjects. Various courses like Land surveying, computer programming, Geographic Information systems, Remote sensing principles and Photogrammetry but few to mention, provided me with a strong footing in the theoretical concepts of Geoinformation and making me to be very appreciable and competitive in the Industry of Geo-information applications. Through my academic specialization, I have been able to work as Graduate Mine Surveyor under African Barrick Gold at Tulawaka Gold Mine. I have also being able to participate in several Land Surveying projects as a Surveyor, one of them being MnaziBay-Mtwara-Dar es Salaam Natural Gas project. Currently, I have secured the job at Ardhi University as Tutorial Assistant, in the school of Geospatial Sciences and technology, whereby I am training young future professionals. Since any University is the source of all future and recent professionals, researchers and Consultants, it is for this reason that motivated me to seek new exposure, adequate skills and knowledge at Stuttgart University. However, working as a Geoinformatics lecturer needs deep knowledge of fundamental principles of GIS with Remote sensing and experiences in Photogrammetry. Even though my undergraduate programme has given me a strong background in the fundamentals of GIS and remote sensing to enrich my skills and broaden my knowledge, this is not enough for me to be a professional lecturer. Thus, I have to continue so as to boost my professional career forward and...
