A lot of people listen to music on their free time. Some people like rap, rock, hip-hop, pop, r and b, classical music, etc. There are a lot of composer of the classical music such as, Manuel Maria Ponce, Carlos Chavez, and Franz Joseph Hayden. But what stands out the most out of all these composers is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Classical music is a style of “art” music that stands apart form traditional or popular music. Classical musicians usually have formal training, and performances tend to be more refined and less spontaneous. In classical music audience participation is usually not encouraged. Classical music traditions ere associated with the more educated members of the society. At one time, only the wealthiest members were allowed to access this genre of music. As the classical period advanced more people made more money. As the middle class increased in wealth, they wanted the same entertainment as the elite class. This included music, theatre, and literature. Some even enrolled their children in music class. Chamber music is a type of classical music. It is music written during the Classical period for small ensembles. This type of music provided entertainment for nobility, clergy, and the emerging middle class.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a composer who demonstrated classical music. He is one of the world’s famous composers and acknowledge genius. When he was eight years old he was a prodigy. He astounded Europe’s royalty with his skills on the harpsichord. He composed his first symphony at the age of eight, and his first opera at the age eleven. Rumor has it at the age of fourteen he was able to write out all nine parts of the Sistine Chapel. Mozart wrote sacred works, piano music, orchestral work, vocal music, chamber music, concertos, and operas. Mozart also used a form called theme and creations.
