Social developments have allowed artists to explore more aspects and variety of ideas and issues affecting the current society. Art has begun to be more expressive as the artists placed more emphasis on self-expression, freedom, and social issues and ideas. The polical developments have also impacted the rapid change in arts. Controversial policies and laws were explored through art especially through music. For example, topics such as same sex marriage, equality for gays, started to become popular themes for many songs. Religious developments also had an impact in the current variety of artistic styles. Songs, music, sculptures, and paintings related to churches and religion became a more popular part of artistic styles. Technological developments have definitely played a great role in the rapid change of the arts. Technological innovations have made sharing the art across all areas of the world within different artists was made possible. Collaborations of the different ideas of artists have really heightened the quality of art. I think that the mixture of the impacts of all developments together: social, political, religious, and technological developments, created such a positive impact in the improvement of the current variety of artistic styles.
