QAtar is a sovereign Arab state occupying a a small peninsula that borders Saudi Arabia on the south. The capital of Qatar is Doha. Qatar is my favorite country mainly because of the fact that it is a very hardworking country. It was a barren land but it rose suddenly and is now the richest country in the world in terms of GDP- per capita. This means that an average person in Qatar can earn approximately $102,800 per year, beating Liechtenstein and Luxemburg in this race, as of 2012.This is mainly due to the discovery of oil in the 1940’s. It has tried to bridge the gap between the Muslim and non Muslim states very peacefully.
