Sometimes the Heart Sees What is Invisible to the Eye
What is love? According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, love is defined as a warm attachment, or strong affection. Although this is true, we all have our own personal thoughts on the word love. For me, this bond is all about learning about yourself, and whom you love. It’s about sharing unforgettable memories, and going through hell, but always sticking through it. It’s a never ending process that you can constantly work on, and better. Love is one of the most powerful, yet confusing words to ever exist. Once you are in this deep attachment, you feel on top of the world, and happier than ever.
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” (Lao Tzu) This quote, spoken by Lao Tzu could not be any more true. Love is one of the most unexplainable feelings in the world. You get butterflies just thinking about the person whom you share that intimacy with. You get the biggest smile on your face and your eyes light up instantly when you see him or her. You adore every second spent together and you miss them, even before you part. The memories made together are unforgettable, and the conversations about the future, light up your world. They seem to always understand what you’re going through and make you feel on top of the world. “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally Kunka 2
better than your dreams.” (Dr. Seuss) Although there are many good aspects about relationships, it's not always peachy. At times you will face trials and hardships.
When you love someone, you will not always agree with the decisions they make or what they say. It will lead to arguments, disputes, trust issues, etc. In a way, love makes you sick. You begin to develop negative traits that you have never possessed before, and it feels like you can not control it.
