My Father's Biography

My Father's Biography

My father is a good role model for all young men, especially for those from poor families. Although he started his life with nothing, he now has a high salary job and a happy family.

My father’s name is Le Hai Dinh. He was born in 1957 in an indigent family and was the eldest brother of three children, so he had to work a lot to help his parents. Despite this, he was a really brilliant pupil. After graduating high school, my father couldn’t continue his study, because he had to join the army to protect the country against America.

My father met my mother in 1980, and then he married her in 1988. After that, he couldn’t afford his life, for his military income was too low. As a result, he decided to leave the army in 1994 and become an independent electrician. He worked and updated his professional knowledge himself, because he wasn’t able to pay for career training courses.

My father always attempts to have a better life for his family. He worked non-stop day by day and eventually he had his own house by himself in 1998. Now he is the best known electrician in his city for his proficiency in repairing and setting up civil electric systems. In spite of this, he is really modest and approachable. He gives useful advice to many people and helps them get jobs. For these reasons, he is an excellent role model for me as well as others.
