My Kind of Music
How music affect my life

There are so many types of music around the world that have so many different
meanings to so many different people. Some music can be an inspiration to some people,
and that same music can be depressing, irritating, or just plain boring to someone else.
Music is a great way of expressing your personal feelings and ideas. I listen to all types of
music but my personal favorite is rap. I like a lot of rappers, but Eminem is probably one
of my favorite for many different reasons. I enjoy listening to Eminem because he speaks
his mind, no matter what. If people do not like what he has to say, they do not have to listen
to it. In his music he talks about his life, the things he went through, and what he had to do
to get where he is today. Since he talks about things that are real to him, a lot of people can
relate to what he has to say.
A lot of his songs cause a lot of controversy because of the things he says. In some of
his songs he had talked about killing his now ex-wife Kim. I do not think he actually
considered doing this, I just think it was his way of expressing his anger about what
happened between the two of them. Is that what music is, a way of expressing yourself?
He also bashes a lot of artists and people he do not like which I do not think is the best way
of going about it, but it is his music, and his choice. In his song "Without Me" he sings
"Chris Kirkpatrick you can get your ass kicked, worse than them little Limp Bizkit
bastards, and Moby, you can get stomped by Obie, you 36 year old bald headed fag blow
me. You don't know me, you're too old let go it is over, nobody listens to techno..." This
causes a lot of anger from those artists and others who like those artists.
But I also have a lot of respect for him because although there are so many people
that do not like him, or who disagree with what he says and believes in, he do not stop
writing his music. He...
