My Opinion

opinion, a mockingbird symbolizes innocence and killing a mockingbird is equivalent to destroying innocence. There are many characters who the mockingbirds symbolize.
The 2 primary ones are Boo and Tom.
They both, like mockingbirds, never harmed anyone. Tom was accused by a white man's false word and was therefore declared guilty by the jury, while Boo was wrongly treated by his cruel father. they both represent mockingbirds. I dont intend to confuse you further, but even Jem is symbolized as a mockingbird because after the verdict, he is rendered unable to be able to trust in justice and his innocence is therefore harmed

The movie followed the book very closely with the main events. For instance, Mayella Ewell and her father accused Tom Robinson of raping her. Another thing that was the same was Atticus Finch was the lawyer who defended Tom. They also both included the trial. However, the day of the trial was much more descriptive in the book. The book showed us the characters who were coming to view the court which added to the flavor and the importance of the trial.
