Conceptualizing my selected business
From the knowledge I gained from this course and previous coursework, I will explain the importance of my selected business’ vision, mission, and values in determining my strategic direction. I intend to define my business, products, services, and customers by developing a mission statement. I intend to create a vision statement for my organization that clearly demonstrates my decision on what I want my business to become in the future. I will also define my guiding principles or value statement for my selected business considering the topics of culture, social responsibility, and ethics. Lastly I will explain the importance of the vision, mission, and values in determining strategic direction.

Our strong global network and presence will differentiate us from rest of the tanning salon establishments in our region. Our vision is to have the best possible reputation with tanning loving customers empowered to help themselves get the best tan with the greatest skin care results while maintaining a focus on their budget.
