My Personal Worldviews
After learning about the different worldviews in this class, the Christian Theism is the one that I identify with closely. This is because I believe what is in the Bible and I try to act and live accordingly on a daily basis. The three components that make up my worldviews are God, Ultimate Reality, and Knowledge because they shaped my thoughts, experiences, education and life decisions.
Having God in my life is the reason for me being where I am today, and without him, I do not know where I would be. My thoughts are that God is good, compassionate, kind, just, sovereign and wise. This is what makes him so wonderful, that he is all of these at the same time with many more attributes. I believe that God is the creator and ruler of the universe and when he created us in his image, that he did a very good thing. Growing up early on, I always felt his presence around me, being brought up in a Christian home, inheriting and learning from my grandparents have made me the person that I am today as well. My life experiences with God are many and powerful, and I have fallen into sins, but because of his grace and mercy, God saved my soul from the pits of hell and made me whole, I am not perfect, and for that I am grateful. Regarding my education and life decisions, today my goal is to be the best achiever that I can be by applying myself and staying focused. Life decisions are not as challenging today as they were before I completely turned my will and my life over to God. I have stated before that God is the center of my life, when in actuality, God is my life. And basically, I just take it one day at a time and always keep God first.
