My Positive Learning Experiences
My most positive learning experience occurred when I was in the third grade see I have dyslexia and for a long time my parents didn’t know and didn’t have me tested for it until one of my teachers recommend that I be tested as soon as possible so I could get help for it right away .My parents didn’t believe my teacher they told her I was just being lazy and that there was nothing wrong with me. With that being said my third grade teacher Mrs. Lecture paid out of her own pocket to have me tested with my parent’s permission. When the results came back it was true I had dyslexia. It also turns out my teacher Mrs. Lecture had the same learning disability and began tutoring me everyday after school with her help I went from making D’s and F’s to B’s and C’s Mrs. Lecture tutored me In the subjects of reading and writing .The technique she used was patience trying to help someone stop reading and spelling backwards has to be hard but she was really patience with me and that’s what made this both a memorable and positive learning experience .I think patience is the key to teaching another anything and a lot of people don’t have the patience Mrs. Lecture patience and understanding made a world of difference and this is why this is one of my most positive learning .
