“Always remember you are braver than you believe, Stronger than what you seem and smarter than what you think.” Is a quote that is very important to me because it symbolizes my everyday life. I sometimes have no faith in myself and I start to think negative about life. I always think of this quote because it helps me keep my head held high and want to achieve my goals. I never knew how brave I was until I was put in a situation with my sick grandfather.
He was my best friend we did everything together, but he started to get sicker and sicker as the days had come and I had to take care of him and cleaned up after him. I always said, ‘If I lost my grandpa I wouldn’t know what to do with myself!” I use to always thinking negative thoughts about the situation with my grandpa, or how I would feel and act if he lifted me. I never knew how strong I was, until the day I was standing in front of his hospital bed seeing him lye their and me just staring and not crying I know I was strong going to his funeral and standing in front of the casket and not crying at that moment. He was important to be because he raised me most of my life, living with him with him and always being with him every day I can honestly say I was his favorite and he became more like a dad to me.
I started to realized this quote can change my life, sticking to this quote gives me motivation to get up and become a better person than I was yesterday, learn more as each day goes on and using it actually helps me because I change my mind set and how I will become successful every day. I can either stop what I was doing that was wrong or change it up and do something that I never done and see what the outcome will be. Life is about taking chances and learning from them so I can learn every day. Now that I get older I see how my life would change without him here and how would I grow up to be.
