My Stand Against Defense Support at Afghanistan

Canadians shouldn’t support the mission fighting in Afghanistan; however, should continue to provide resources to the region. The three reasons why Canadians should retreat from Afghanistan is because Taliban terrorism is a myth, Canada is conquering instead of redeeming, and are replacing their peacekeepers with fighters. Therefore, Canadians should continue to provide aid and support as peacekeepers; however, should do so without military forces destroying the Afghan nation.

Firstly, the Afghan Taliban terrorist regime is a complete myth invented by America. Prime Minister Gordon Brown had claimed that troops were being sent to Afghanistan to protect the western world from terror. However, no Afghan citizens were involved in the international 7/7, 21/7, or the 9/11 attacks. The 7/7 and 21/7 had been caused by British citizens with no training in Afghanistan. Even non-Afghans trained in Afghanistan was a result of American motivations. During the Soviet War, American and British governments sponsored the Mujahideen (Taliban), training them in warfare and providing them with weapons to use to defeat the Russians. Osama Bin Laden was part of those whom were funded by the US; however, now American governments release propaganda in the media to view Osama Bin Laden as a terrorist. The 9/11 attack was not caused by the Taliban regime, and no planes had been sent from Afghanistan. “Fifteen were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, and one each from Lebanon and Egypt.”(Hayes) “It was also planned beforehand in Germany and Spain, and conducted mainly by US-based Saudis to punish America for supporting Israel’s repression of the Palestinians.”(Margolis) Osama Bin Laden of whom was accused of bombing the twin towers was a guest in Afghanistan at the time as a hero for the success of the Soviet War, and had been surprised about the attacks.
