1. Introduction of Napoleon's life
Origins
Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Corsica.He was born on 15 August 1769.
Education
In order to learn French, he was sent to a religious school when he was at the age of nine.
Napoleon was graduated after five year and he had a good result on his academy. So he could go to a military school in Paris.
Early career
In 1785,he was graduated from the school and served for the army until 1789,the French Revolution.
Wars he joined
At his first wars(the Battle of Lodi) in 1796, he beat Austria by giving commond to the army.
In 1797, he forced Austria back and got the control of northern Italy.
During the wars he joined, he had a higher influence in France and the French people saw him as a hero.
Egyptian expedition
Napoleon wanted to seize England but he thought that France couldn't defeat England. So he decided to have an expedition to Egypt and seize it first.
In 1798, the French Academy of Sciences selected Bonaparte as a member of them. They had discovered the Rosetta Stone.
At the Battle of the Nile in later 1789,the British ships destroyed all the French ships for expedition but there are two ships left.
Became the ruler of France

In 1799, Napoleon overthrew the French Directory and found the French Consulate. Bonaparte, Sieyes, and Ducos were the Directors in the French Consulate.

Became the Emperor
Napoleon crowned himself as Napoleon I on 2 December 1804.This marked the end point of the period of the French Consulate.
