For the purpose of this presentation I have chosen National museum of American history. This presentation is created for tourists who would like to visit Washington dc’s museums and we are starting with National Museum of American History.

In this presentation I will be going over the History of the museum, Exhibitions, specially the food exhibitions, I will also cover special events that are happening in the museum, Upcoming events that will be hosted by National museum, How to get involved and ways to get back to the society, and last but not least Restaurants and hotels close by the museum for tourists who would like to visit Washington dc for a day.

SLIDE 3:

This museum is located at 1400 constitution AVE NW, Washington DC20560. It is Open everyday Monday- Sunday 10am -5.30 pm and it open everyday except DEC 25TH with a free admission for public.
Parking: There is no public parking facility. However there are limited numbers of street parking. There is also National Mall close by and you can park there for few hours if you chose to drive. The best way to get to museum is with the metro. We recommend getting off at Federal Triangle Statin and you will be few steps away from the National Museum.

The National Museum of American History dedicates its collections and scholarship to inspiring a broader understanding of the nation. The National Museum of American History opened to the public in January 1964 as the Museum of History and Technology. It was the sixth Smithsonian building on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Since then, some 4 million visitors a year have passed through the doors to enjoy the Museum’s exhibitions, public programs, educational activities, collections, and research facilities.
