New York City
My book is about New York city. New York or Big Apple as many people who call it is one the east coast of the United States, in the state of New York. It consists of five boroughs; Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Manhattan is the place where you can see most of the city's famous buildings and sights. Queens is the largest area in New York city. Some of the city's most famous buildings are: The Empire State Building, The Flatiron Building and The Chrysler Building. In addition to that, New York has The Statue of Liberty which is most famous sights in the world ,also, Ellis Island located in New York. Ellis is the Island where immigrants to New York had to stop on it before they could begin their new life. The writer mentioned many kinds of transportation in New York such as the subway, Taxis, Cars, Buses, and Ferries. New Yorkers live in a big city, but the can also enjoy green, open spaces like central park, Washington square park, Gramercy park, and Coney Island. With people from all over the world, there are lots of special days in New York such as St. Patrick's day, many New Yorkers are Irish and St. Patrick's Day on March 17 is an important day for the city, there is a big parade through the center of Manhattan. Another special days is New Year's Eve on December,31. In New York's book , the writer mentioned a lot of information about stores and clothes, he mentioned many famous restaurants like the Bryant Park Grill which is the largest restaurant in the city. The Book is talking about Museums such as Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), American Museum of Natural History, and The Guggenheim Museum. In addition, New York has played a big part in history of American music, Jazz is probably the most American music and so of course the greatest American city is very important in its history.
