nO SUGAR

The text a separation is about people having different perspectives on things and how each and one of them has a secret that they can’t overcome, they solve each problem. Everyone has their own perspectives and problems that they have to face.
The text challenged peoples idea on conflicting perspectives through sound (music), in the film, there was no music which creates a serious atmosphere leading to a film that is based on a real footage. Tone, tone from each of the characters is mainly serious to make the effect of a serious/ tragedy story.
It is also conveyed through the use of body language, the body language of each character is always worried or scared about something it is evident in the film when the caregiver talks to someone on the phone asking whether its ok if she helps n old man change the tone of her voice changes into a very quiet matter and she also played with her fingers symbolising that she is worried.
The perspectives of the camera in the film is always in the middle of each conflict to show the facial expressions of people together rather than focusing on one person (no one has the power apart from the person holding the camera) it is portrayed in the scene when the wife and the husband were in the court trying to get a divorce, the camera was in the judges hand showing the perspectives of the judges not the character/ people having the conflicts.
Omission, the technique omission is used in the film to create more tension and arguments in the film the scene when the ex-husband came me and saw that his grandfather was on floor he rushed over to help him and looked for the caregiver who wasn’t at home, he then rushed to see that his money was gone… then the caregiver came home not knowing what happened that scene started the central argument including everyone that is related to the caregiver and the ex-husband. So when the scene of someone stealing the money was left out it was to create more tension between the characters in the film....
