I am among those lucky people who have have achieved their goals in life through hard work and dedication. I have always wanted to study, explore and acquire knowledge of Arts. The most exciting day of my life was when I entered my High School with my ambition to study Arts.
It was Tuesday afternoon, while I was relaxing on my chair in the balcony and was busy viewing the pictures in a fashion magazine, suddenly my cell-phone beeped showing a new text message box popping on my screen. I quickly threw the magazine on the glass table in front of me and grabbed my phone to view the message which stated, “Hey Z! did you happen to check the list of selected candidates who made it to the St.Denys’ High School, on their official website?” My eyes went wide open, my hands literally froze and I could feel my heart beating at a faster rate than it normally does.I rushed into my room, turned on my laptop and waited for the browser to load the web page. Soon the screen flashed open in front of me,I got muddled in finding my name on the list, I read the list twice and the second time I found my name. I was surprised and was filled with numerous emotions flowing inside me.I have been waiting for this day since years and it was a dream turning into a reality getting into the town’s best high school.I was super excited to break the news in my family but I decided to wait till it was dinner time when everyone will be home.It was hard for me to keep this news a secret and not to tell anyone.
