The Normality of Life
What is normal? Some say that being normal is to be not weird nor being a so called “retard”. All over the world, most people are saying that being normal is to be perfect.
In the dictionary, the word normal is defined as being average, regular, or standard. There are quite a few ways of using those words in a sentence. For example, “that guy over there looks pretty average. Don’t you think so?” or “can you not dress in regular looking clothes, please.” Looking normal can be hard in life. Especially, if one does not know what normal is. To the untrained mind, a child may think that what is normal is what he or she see’s on the television or in movies.
In today’s society, in many ways that people thinks, a person being normal is not of what that person looks like, but of what that person thinks of things or of life in general. Many citizens of this planet like to say “act normally, please!” or “walk normally, please!” But, do those phrases actually have meaning? I say that they do not have meaning. How is one to know how to act or walk normal? Maybe the way that person walks is his normal. There can only be one thing that can be considered as normal to any human being. And that is that one is able to think for one’s self and have his or her own individuality.
People in society are afraid of many things, such as snakes, dogs, spiders. But what most people are afraid is the unknown and the sight of a person. A person who does not look like them physically. The one considered as “normal” has two legs, two arm, two eyes and ears. But the other person that is considered as “not-normal” has two legs, two arms, two eyes, but has only one ear. Of course, that is not normal but that is the way that man was born to be. The same goes for women, if one woman had two breasts, 34C for example. Another woman has 34AA. Now, to some that ok, but there are some people out there who say that it is not right having such small breasts. Back then, 1480...
