Obama for Prez

I am an American. I love this country and I only want the best for it. This is the land that I call home. This is where my child will be raised into adulthood. When I think about America and what it is, the only thing I can think about is my daughter and what the actions of today mean for her generation tomorrow. Now I know that I am still young and I have not experienced much yet, but this is still my country and I have a responsibility to my daughter to do what I can to make this the best damn country I can. As gear up and go vote for the very first time in my life, I look at two men. Two men that tell what they think is right and what is wrong. Two men that believe they are the best person to improve for my daughters’ generation. We have had depressing, sad, and hate-filled eight years. Please don’t get me wrong, all of the problems we face are not just one mans fault. As a nation we must take personal responsibility for some of the problems we face. I mean we supposedly elected Mr. Bush. Twice. The past eight years we have dealt with the loss of thousands of lives on Sept. 11th, corporate corruption, a war that is not called a war in Afghanistan, a War in Iraq, and just recently the largest financial crash in U.S. history. Like I said this is not all Mr. Bush’s fault, we must still take some responsibility. As a semi-educated man, I cannot for the life of me figure out why middle America would want to go through at minimum another four years of the same exact bullshit that we’ve put up with for the last eight. If it is not already obvious my vote for the President of the United States is going to Barack Obama. This has nothing to do with race, and personally I am sick and tired of hearing that from everyone, especially Fox News Channel who don’t want minorities to vote because they are scared of what is right.
