A fresh smell mixed in with a fishy smell lingers around while a cool breeze off Wamplers Lake shakes the trees and gives the sailors quite the boost. The many screams of tubers and loud engine roars heard throughout the lake makes it hard to not to get excited. The waves clash against the seawall and pops up on the wall just enough for the dogs to catch a drink and get back to play. People cracking beers and hooting and hollering about who is the better volleyball player echoes two houses over. Out on the lake everyone is working together, going counterclockwise and looking out for others safety and occasionally throwing up a wave or giving a nod just to be friendly. The usual pontooners many times a family or some elders going so slow it looks that they aren’t event moving just troll around the outside checking out the scenery and soaking in the suns heated rays. Everyone putting all their work and school behind them to enjoy this day.
The small yards with beautiful landscaping and extremely green grass from so much water are getting much use. Some tossing a Frisbee and holding a beer in the opposite hand while others just enjoy the scene and stare out into the lake for hours. When the breeze stops it instantly gets heated around the whole lake as if the temperature went up ten degrees. Many go flying down the long dock and soaring through the air into the lake while other jump on jet skis or grab a driver and a spotter and hop on the tube. Of course while some love to play there are always the people just laying at the end of the dock or on a boat just soaking in the sun trying to look nice and dark for their next appearance out at the lake.
The wood dock straight ahead is eleven pieces long with a sun deck attached to the end to satisfy the ladies makes this dock look legit.
