Olbermann

To every conservative or moderate person who says "curse you liberals" or criticizes the media for having a "liberal" bias (honestly now, its biased to say this, the media has a cash bias; whatever sells, and the same old thing doesn't sell as well as a new thing; aka, change). I'd like to say to you, that I appreciate those liberals, I AM one of those liberals, and it is because of things like same-sex marriage and other civil liberties that my decision is made for me.
It can never, NEVER be a right of a majority in a democracy (or in any civilized society) to take away a civil liberty human right as has been done with proposition 8. This reaction has been a long time in coming. We've fought many legal battles. I'd say the issue of same-sex marriage rights is about as tantamount to me as it is a woman's liberty right to choose, or the issue of an Immigrant's Citizen's right to be a(n) inhabitant resident of the country.
And so, as I said before, it is my decision to fight for justice for all and END oppression of groups currently disenfranchised from community and society, the keystones of human civilization.
I've never understood how a person can justify their oppression of another group, or the support of that oppression. Tell me, if you who reads this DO support the oppression of such another group, how do you justify it to yourself? And, how do you sleep at night?

Also, thank you Keith Olbermann for speaking out on this issue.
