Is Online Dating more beneficial than Traditional Dating?

Online dating is new popular trend and many people have tried it; some have been satisfied and some not, but online dating actually is the next generation mode of dating. As of today it’s not as popular for the older generation because people yet believe in the traditional way of dating, but for the next generation, online dating will become popular for individuals to find their match. Even though the two parties start their relationship online, some individuals believe that it is important to build a physical relationship. While online dating presents the possibility that the actual person behind the persona may not be accurately represented, traditional dating sets a what-you-see-is-what-you-get standard. Online daters are so concentrated on finding a mate that they do not realize the lack authenticity in this method.
In any relationship, communication, is very important. However, with today’s technology, people are more likely to date and communicate via a technological device and the internet. Many daters do not realize how much online dating takes away from the ability to communicate face to face. When two individuals communicate face-to-face, they are more likely to learn about each other on a personal level. Likewise, the individual’s true personality and character will be on display. Others may argue that some individuals change their personality and character to attract the opposite sex. But when communicating in person, the individuals can detect whether the individual is honestly showing their genuine personality and character by body language. Body language helps determine if the individual is actually interested in pursuing a relationship.
