Deburring Process of removing the unwanted piece of material (burr)

Drilling A cutting process that uses a drill bit to cut or enlarge a hole in
solid materials

Forging Shaping of metal using localized compressive forces

Gear Shaping A machinery process for generating teeth by a corresponding
cutter

Grinding An abrasive machining process that uses a grinding wheel as
the cutting tool

Hobbing A machining process for making gears, splines, and sprockets
on a hobbing machine, which is a special type of milling
machine.

Induction hardening A form of heat treatment in which a metal part is heated by induction heating ( a non contact heating process) and then quenched(rapidly cooled)
Turning Process in machining whereby a single point cutting tool is held parallel to the surface
