Thesis
Although fast food is convenient, inexpensive, and is basically a cultural phenomenon, we as a society need to stop eating fast food because it has increased health problems, has taken away from family values, destroys the environment, and has created a food economy dominated by giant corporations.
Intro
We, as a society, have a need for speed.  We want everything faster, more convenient, and bigger.  We are the “super-sized” rulers of the world, and we want it all, right now.  This type of lifestyle has consequences though and if we do not start doing something about it right now the consequences will be too far reaching and irreversible. Although fast food is convenient, inexpensive, and is basically a cultural phenomenon, we as a society need to stop eating fast food because it has increased health problems, has taken away from family values, destroys the environment, and has created a food economy dominated by giant corporations.
