The primary sector of the economy removes or harvests products from the earth. They harvest products from the earth like carrots, potatoes, wheat and much more. The primary sector includes the production of raw material and basic foods. Activities linked with the primary sector include mining, forestry, farming, grazing, hunting and gathering, fishing, and quarrying. The packaging and processing of the raw material related with this sector is also considered to be part of this sector.

The secondary sector
The secondary sector create a product, they get the resources from the primary sector. This sector is the main sector that does all the work. They build the finished product and they give it to the tertiary sector. For example the Dyson machine factory is the secondary source because that is where they create it. This is the sector that is changing because machines are starting to make the product.
